BWRT®’ stands for ‘BrainWorking Recursive Therapy®’, a model of psychology and psychotherapy created by UK professional therapist, Terence Watts, MCGI. It’s a totally confidential method that does not require you to reveal your private information or personal secrets to your therapist and it is carried out in a completely conscious state. It does not use hypnosis or any other therapy modalities – it’s completely logical, practical and down-to-earth, and for it to succeed only needs you to know what you want to change in your life. Only Certified Practitioners have been trained to deliver BWRT® and all have to adhere to a strict ethical code. Find out more at http://www.bwrt.org

Common issues that BWRT can help with
The above list shows some of the more common issues and problems that I see in the therapy room, however there are many more that respond well to this 21st Century Therapy. If you suffer from a problem not listed above then please get in touch to find out if I can help.
How does it work?
Unlike most other therapies BWRT works directly with your unconscious mind and by doing so it can make rapid changes to patterns in your brain that are causing the issues you wish to resolve. During the BWRT process we first of all freeze the troublesome thoughts, then as part of the process we replace the unwanted thought patterns with a preferred response i.e. the way you would prefer to feel instead.
There are around 86 Billion neurones in the human brain and the tiny neurones transmit and receive the information necessary to make the changes you desire. Brain Working Recursive Therapy quickly creates and strengthens your new neural pathways in the brain that take precedence over the old erroneous thought patterns.
It’s a bit like how we learn anything by repetition, but it occurs rapidly and quickly becomes the preferred response to the old problem you had. All you have to do is think about how you would like to feel instead of how you usually feel about the problem, your unconscious mind takes car of the rest!
The entire process is surprisingly simple to understand and follow which is why BWRT is so effective and fast acting. Quite often you can resolve a problem in one or two sessions.
Break free of the old behaviours, beliefs and fears that have been holding you back and get the life you really want!

A - Unlike many other therapies, with BWRT you don’t need to discover the original event or cause of a problem, only the worst conscious memory or feeling that you have in response to your problem.

A - This depends on several factors. BWRT can solve some problems in just a single session, e.g. for simple phobias, fears etc. often 1-2 sessions are all that is needed. More complex issues may require more sessions, 4-5 sessions typically, however unlike some other therapies the speed of BWRT means you are not in therapy for months or in some cases years.
A - In general a BWRT session is around one hour including discussion before and after the treatment. Your first session may be up to 90 mins long which includes a general discussion and treatment plan.
A - You may get in touch via the Contact page and we can discuss a therapy plan and associated costs.
A - Honest answer - there is no therapy that is guaranteed to work for everyone, although BWRT has a very high success rate. During our free consultation I will advise you if I feel it is a good therapy for you, or suggest an alternative, i.e. Hypnotherapy or WSN-Counselling & Coaching.
